For the archaeologist in all of us, Retro 51 has brought us a pen that encapsulates the love of dinosaurs. Each Retro 51 Dino Fossil Tornado comes with fossils acid-etched onto the barrel of the pen. This acid-etching will truly make you “feel” a part of your writing. Also, the Dino comes in the style of the classic Retro 51 Tornado. The pen will be 5 inches in length, and roughly 1/2 inches in diameter. In addition, the Dino will take either a “Parker style” refill, or a Schmidt Short Capless rollerball refill. Each Dino will come individually numbered, in an open-numbering system. Which means the pens will be numbered, but are not a limited edition. This is true, not just for the Dino, but for all of the Smithsonian Collection.
