Customer Reviews
This ink is simply gorgeous. I have been looking for the "perfect" blue ink and this may be it. The ink quality is excellent. Not much in the way of shading that I have noticed, but I have it in a pen with a fine nib, so my line isn't very wet. It might write differently in with a different nib. It seems to dry pretty quickly, but I haven't done any smear tests or anything like that. I just loaded it into a pen, loved the color and starting writing with it.

These inks (a Cap, a Scorpii, a Orionis) all are gorgeous colores with interesting, subtle sheens. And so far, they flow well without clogging the nib of the Pilot Metro Stubs. Great fun!

Colorverse's Constellation II features most of the zodiac constellations so I went for Regulus, aka "alpha Leo", a soft yellow ink with just the slightest hint of olive, maybe. That's the way it appears to my eyes. Think of sunlight, filtered through an eggshell-colored shade. Subtle is the best word for this ink. It's hard to see at first although as it dries and gets a little age, it begins to show up better, with that smidge of olive lending it enough color to show up. It reminds me of FWP's Sparkling Champagne. It will work best in a stub or broad point to get more of the ink on the page.
Colorverse's packaging is second to none, featuring constellations, a rover or two, planets, and other fun astronomical designs - and of course, their comet bottles.
I can't say enough good things about Pen Chalet. I got this ink (along with several other goodies) on a great sale, so I was a happy camper there! My package came swiftly and everything was packed with great care, inks beautifully wrapped and cornstarch peanuts protecting the whole lot. They even gave me a lovely ink sample to try.

Nice color verse set… the small bottle neck makes it difficult to fill from so I use a syringe. The larger bottle “Martian” is an excellent shading orange and red.

Love this shade of pink ink as it's not too pale but really shows up well on envelopes & stationary. Thank you!

So love this combination. Map of Mars and Mars Attacks are gorgeous and well-behaved. They are perfectly paired in a couple of Kawecos. My co-workers are jealous ;-) And the service from Pen Chalet was superb. Quick to ship and beautifully packed. Thanks.

Amazing ink, easily my favorite. The blue/green shimmer really ties it together, and the mustard yellow is warm enough to stand out from my other yellow inks. A little similar to Gluon but I prefer this one, its a shame I couldn't snag some more! Fed perfectly with my F.P.R. EF Ultra Flex and ebonite feed, a little on the wet side.

I like the Colorverse inks for several reasons. I'm an astronomer/planetary person and fountain pen user, so their whole astro/space theme is very appealing to me. I think their inks generally run dryer, but the inks can be a little inconsistent; some dryer and some wetter, some shading more and some less. So while I usually choose wetter inks, I can usually find a color in Colorverse that performs well in my pens. These 15ml bottles are a great size for travel or for colors you love but don't need a lot of. I have the Blue Crab, of course because I live in Maryland. It shades surprisingly well even in fine nibs.

I really like this light colored ink. I use it in a gold Shaffer Sagaris, a classic pen filled with a non-traditional color of ink. I write more slowly than usual to get more ink saturation. It’s not a dry ink, just light. It swatches beautifully! The tiny bottle openings can be overcome by using an Ink Miser or sample vial. This review is for the bottle of To Cali.

Bought this tiny little 5ml bottle to top up my order and get free shipping... but also, when you buy a purple and gold glittery pen (Benu Briolette "Jolanda"), don't you need a purple and gold glittery ink to go in it? Yes, yes you do! I was surprised at how tiny and cute the bottle was, it even came with a cute and tiny pipette. This was my first shimmer ink experience and all I can say is "resistance is futile". It’s just so fun! The shimmer particles are very small and as a result, I am getting good shimmering throughout my writing, even with a wet Fine nib, and even on cheap paper. The shimmer settles fast, so I move the barrel around gently before writing again if I’ve paused. The ink itself is quite nice, and is a pretty purple. I’ve noticed that even with the Benu Fine nib it tends to feather a little on cheap paper. I can definitely see myself buying a bigger bottle of this.

Colorverse is one of my favorite inks. They always flow well and the colors are bright. I can ink up any pen and it writes smoothly.

A nice deep blue, with a slight dark green undertone(?). Not a navy in any way. I had no issues using it in my TWSBI ECO F on any of my Yamamoto papers with feathering, bleeding or skipping. The ONLY issue I had was the neck of the bottle is too small to fit the pen neck inside so it does come with a pipette to get the ink out to transfer it to another container which is an additional step I could skip. I did not deduct any stars though as this is just my personal issue with not being able to just dip my pen inside and draw the ink out directly from the bottle.

This review is for the Supernova ink. I am in LOVE, LOVE, LOVE with this ink! Why? The color is outstanding! It is so hard to describe, but the closest I can say is that if you have seen Dove Chocolate in the blue wrapper, it is almost the identical color! It does not skip in my TWSBI ECO M and there is no bleeding. The ONLY downside is that the neck of the bottle is so small you have to use the dropper that comes with it or a needle and syringe to transfer the ink to an inkwell to fill your pen. Since it is just a minor thing I did not ding the ratings for it. This was my 1st Colorverse I used and I can guarantee it will not be the last!

I purchased Colorverse PSc and Colorverse CMa. The package was well wrapped but due to my weather, they were frozen. I was able to open the bottles and defrost them and there was no damage. The inks are absolutely beautiful - better in wetter broader nibs. Great value at PenChalet!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Colorverse Glisten series. My favorite is Cat (dark blue), followed by Hayabusa (purple) and Gluon (greenish-yellow with copper). Brane is also a lovely glimmering green, similar to the J Herbin Vert Empire but with iridescence. Sign me up!
The Covid yellow-blue one sounded great, but the yellow is darker than I expected and the turquoise glimmers not as prominent as I had hoped. The Felicette is dramatically bright candy red. I personally prefer the J Herbin 1670 Rouge Hematite for a darker true red with gold glimmers. However, I tried mixing some of the Hayabusa in with the Felicette in a cartridge using a syringe, and got a very pretty red-purple.

I got an empty Colorverse 30 ml bottle. I made a trip to their office to pick it up. They are just great. They even gave me a little ink sample.
Also got some ink blotters with my Roberts Oster ink. I will continue to shop at Pen Chalet.
