The clean lines of the Monteverde Jewelria Series fountain pen make it a favorite of pen collectors. Choose from various cap and barrel designs with chrome accents and trims that make this fountain pen stylish. Perfectly balanced and fitted with a Monteverde nib. This pen can either use a cartridge or the included converter filler.
*Monteverde pens purchased in 2020 or later, may be packed in the "new" Monteverde pen box, a thin, black plastic box with grey velvet lined interior. The black is encased in a green/black cardboard sleeve featuring the Monteverde branding.

You can unscrew the cap and post the pen. On the nib it has the Monteverde logo with Monteverde USA and it has another Monteverde along the edge of the clip.
This is a cartridge or converter style pen. You can replace the cartridge or converter by simply unscrewing the nib section from the barrel with the converter inside. It also comes with a cartridge that's also included with the pen. Underneath the false bottom of the box there are extra cartridges and it has the operating instructions that come with the pen.

Monteverde Jewelria Series Video Script
This is the Monteverde Jewelria Fountain Pen. It comes in a classic Monteverde box which is a green faux leather with a hinged top to it. This is the brown version of the pen. It comes in a few other colors including black, green, and a couple carbon fiber versions of the pen. It has chrome accents to it, a chrome clip, and a couple chrome rings. It's got some etching in the ring, and it has the Monteverde logo on the top of the pen.You can unscrew the cap and post the pen. I can't stress enough how great this thing is. It writes good while looking good. I've got a deep green pilot ink in it right now and it just bleeds refinement almost to the point of arrogance.

This is an interesting pen. Its nib is much bigger than I imagined, which doesn't affect the writing at all, but looks different. The body is translucent as well, which was unexpected but looks nice. Overall, it writes well, looks great, includes a converter and the presentation box it comes in is a real looker. I've read other reviews that some Monteverde nibs can have issues, but mine started writing out of the box without a problem.

My first stub fountain pen and I love it. I should have tried a stub before now. Pros: The way it fits in my hand un-posted [some reviews mentioned that it was a trace small, but my medium/stout fingers like it]. My penmanship with the stub. Threaded cap and converter. Overall quality. Points to ponder, not necessarily cons: A bit dry [mite be the ink? or the included cartridge] which leads to the next point, it is not a fast writer. The ink in the included cartridge is low contrast/light [very readable, just not my taste]. If a different ink in the converter behaves the same way, I would caution against using this pen for vigorous note taking or school work. Perfect as is for journaling and unrushed use.

As I wrote on my blog papergoodness.com, this is a very pretty and reliable fountain pen. It’s classy enough to take along to business meetings, and is still in a good price point to be affordable for most FP users. Nice, solid pen.
