Pen Chalet Pen Flush (8oz) Reviews
My first time using a pen flush, and this works really well. It is almost shocking how much muck builds up that you just never see. After using this a couple of pens flow so much better, I had previously just used distilled water for cleaning, but this takes cleaning to another level.

It’s a fountain pen needed cleaning solution for those who change inks or who use a lot of ink for artwork.

I have never used this before and so I am not sure if all pen flushes have a "slick" feel to it or not. It says on the bottle you can reuse the liquid, but I did not want to take the chance of ruining my other nibs.
I did use this on my Yookers fen nib and it worked great. I also wanted to see if it could remove ink on a nib that had dried ink from over 5 years ago. So, I put it in a ceramic bowl that I don't use for food and covered it with enough pen flush that all parts would soak. I left the nib soaking for over an hour and then removed the nib and the dried ink literally just washed away. I was tickled pink because I had used distilled water to clean it out in the past and that did not work.
It does what I needed it to do, and I noticed the longer I let my nibs soak, the less work I spent on removing the ink in other ways. It did a jam up job on my feed section as well.
Since I did not reuse the pen flush, I am not sure if it was worth the money; HOWEVER, that is only because I did not feel comfortable reusing it to clean/flush other nibs. People who do this a lot may find it a better value than me. So, that itself is just a personal preference, nothing to do with how the product works.

Worked like a charm to clean up nibs of pens I put away in great haste when my kids started toddling and didn't think about whether they'd been inked at the time until 10 years later. I used it on stainless steel and iridium nibs.

This stuff works well. That said I'll probably be making my own DIY flush in the future. My pens haven't gotten crusty/dirty so I usually flush with distilled water and most of the old ink flushes out but I wanted to see the difference using this.

FAQs about the Pen Chalet Pen Flush (8oz)
Q:
How do I use this pen chalet flush ??A:
You can run the flush through the pen similar to what you would do with water. For harder to remove, dried ink, you can soak the pen for a few hours. It also works well to remove the nib and feed to soak.
