Melyssa’s response to her first look at the Benu Minima Purple Flame when unboxing the fountain pen: “Oh dear am I in love? Possibly. The Benu Minima in purple flame. Isn’t it pretty? Of course I’m a little biased because…well, it’s purple and if you didn’t already know, purple is my favorite color.
The Benu Minima Purple Flame: First Impression
Melyssa’s first impression of the pen was, “I really love that it’s a little more subtle than a lot of other Benu colors. Yes, it’s still sparkly and colorful, but it doesn’t quite hit you the way some of the other colors do. Although I’m still a fan of the over the top colors, too.” We also overheard Melyssa telling someone debating the purchase of a Benu pen that you can’t go wrong with Benu – she absolutely loves them and “all the sparkles!”

Finding the Perfect Ink for the Benu Minima Purple Flame Fountain Pen:
We can’t not include Melyssa’s quest to pair the perfect with her Benu Minima. Here are a few she tried out: Diamine Winter Miracle, Diamine Grape, Diamine Lilac Satin, Colorverse Hayabusa 54 (shimmer), Robert Oster Black Violet, and Ferris Wheel Press Stroke of Midnight. She was leaning towards Robert Oster Black Violet and Diamine Lilac Satin as her favorite inks for this pen, and thought the Lilack Satin matched the glitter in the pen perfectly.
