Visconti Pens

If you are looking for a Visconti item not listed on our website contact customer service. We are often able to get Visconti pens and inks not listed.
The Visconti company was founded by Dante Del Vecchio in Florence, Italy in 1988. Each Visconti writing instrument is hand crafted to create the highest level of beauty and artistry. Each Visconti pen is made with the highest quality materials and cutting-edge technology making each item truly a masterpiece. Visconti is truly one of the worlds leading manufacturers of fine writing instruments.
Visconti's vision is truly revolutionary with the materials and components they use such as volcanic lava. First introduced in 2010, Visconti created a collection of fine writing instruments using basaltic lava from Mount Etna. The lava is mixed with a patented resin formula creating a virtually unbreakable material. Not only is it unique but both beautiful and function-able.
Visconti has also worked with artist Claudio Mazzi who paints objects for private collectors and large companies such as Maserati, Ducati and Ferrari. Mazzi has created a number of limited edition pieces that are truly remarkable.
Another remarkable invention by Visconti is the double reservoir power filling system in some of their fountain pens. With the addition of a second reservoir the patented filling prevents leakage and is ideal for the traveler.
Each component of their pens have been improved over time both for performance and quality. These and others are just an example of the ingenuity of the Visconti brand setting themselves apart from other pen companies.
Visconti offers a two year warranty on regular edition writing tools that covers all manufacturer defects. Limited edition pens come with a lifetime warranty.

The Skylight pen is really a conversation starter. Every time I bring it out, whoever I’m with perks up and asks about. It’s stunning. I really enjoy the looks of the pen in person. The quality is good and the nib is smooth. I purchased a fine nib. The nib was initially a little scratchy out of the box, but smoothed out within a day and now glides across the page. Some reviews noted a “creaking” noise around the windows. I experienced that at the beginning, but seems to be the ink window settling and quickly went away. After two weeks, it’s still rock solid. The double chamber holds an immense amount of ink and I need to remind myself to unscrew the plunger at the end of the day to refill the nib chamber. Overall, it’s the grail pen I’ve been searching for. I look forward to using the Skylight for years to come.

The V-bottle style is both functional and aesthetically pleasing sitting on the shelf while not in use. The base provides a bit more stability when filling.

An excellent pen for those going from a beginner to the "next tier" pen. Got it with a coupon code. Great colors and finish. Looks better in real life than in the photos.
My first experience with a magnetic cap. Just the right amount of force to feel safe. Better than the weaker Conklin Nozac magnets which tend to be much weaker. I really like the distinctive Visconti clip looks and spring. Writes smoothly without skipping or hard starts. Because it is a bit heavier, feels better than the Pelikan M205. Posting it would make the pen unbalanced.
Visconti is on par with Monte Grappa as one of my favorite brands.

I am finding this to be a very well-behaved, nicely not but overly wet ink. Good color saturation and the bottle is easy to work with. I just wish the bottle were glass rather than plastic. I have the blue.

I had earlier bought a Visconti breeze and though it wrote so smoothly and felt so good in my hand that I decided to buy another, the Lemon colored Breeze that was being offered on a Labor Day sale. I didn't have a Lemon colored pen in my collection and so I decided to purchase it. This Breeze is one of my favorites: The resin and coloring of it is extraordinary. It caps well and it is pleasure to write with. I heartedly recommend the Breeze of any color.

I ordered "Chair" with a "F" nib and "Dr. Gauchet with a stub. The stub is the best one I ever used . . . out of many different brands. I filled the beautiful yellow-green "Chair" with Noodler's black ink, but despite all my efforts I couldn't get it to write well. It was almost too dry to get any ink out. Yes, I did flush it before I put the ink in. I looked to see if the nib looked like it lined up. I called Pen Chalet, but no one called me back. I guess now I need to try to find another nib and feed replacement. The pen is beautiful, but I actually use my pens, so I'm incredibly disappointed. The review is for the Van Gogh with the stub.

I know these pens are expensive and it's the most I've ever spent on a pen, but, hands down it is the best writing pen I own! It writs very smooth with just the right amount of ink. And the pen is just over the top beautiful to look at and write with, I am glad I bought it.

I would own many more Visconti products if I could afford them. They certainly are good quality pens, well constructed, beautiful in their structure.

I am very pleased with the Visconti Rembrandt. After using it daily for more than a month, I find no manufacturing flaws. No leaks, cracks etc. I especially like the magnetic closure. I can open the pen with one hand. I got my money's worth and would buy the pen again.

This pen lives up to all the hype you read about it. It is hefty without being too heavy, the body is warm to the touch and very pleasant to hold. I also bought the Visconti traveling filler pot, which makes inking this pen very easy and clean, and avoids getting ink on the porous grip. The nib has a reputation to be a gusher, though the Fine I ordered is perfect- wet without depositing too much ink on the page, and very smooth. As a lefty I don't apply too much pressure to the nib to avoid jabbing it into the page, but if you like a springy nib you will find this has some give, just don't expect it to be really flexible.

I admit, I was trigger-shy about spending so much on a fountain pen, this pen was more than double (or more) the amount I have ever spent on a pen. I have to say, I just got in hand and the pen is AMAZING. It has an amazing weight and the feel of the lava/resin composite, I can't really describe, i just feels very natural. The Dreamtouch nib is aptly named, I barely notice it gliding across the paper. Appearance-wise, what you see is what you get. I fell in love with this as soon as it was announced, I felt the red highlights really made the pen "pop".
If you've been scared to spend so much money on a fountain pen, if it's this one, don't be. I definitely believe I have received my money's worth.

One of my favorite shades of blue. Cool shaped bottle that delays the necessity of using an ink miser.

I debated for a long time (daily for weeks) before I decided to get it. This is the smoothest writing pen in my collection, which is largely Pelikan and Visconti. I never thought a pen would top Pelikan M800, but this one does.

This is a beautiful pen. I love writing with this pen. It has quickly become one of my favorite pens. one of the main things I love about this pen is that it starts writing immediately after I change the ink cartridge. Visconti has found a way to make the the most aesthetically beautiful pens, that are reliable and makes writing enjoyable. Great Pen!
