Visconti Rembrandt-S Fountain Pens

A renovation of the popular Rembrandt pen design, the Visconti Rembrandt-S fountain pens feature four new contrasting color combinations, a newly designed ring, colored resins accentuated with graphite ruthenium trim, and a new large-size nib with ruthenium plating (made by Schmidt Germany).

The inspiration behind the Visconti Rembrandt Collection is Rembrandt Van Rijn, a famous 17th-century painter famed for his ability to blend the elements of earthly and spiritual life in his art. Using the Chiaroscuro technique, a shading technique used in oil painting based on strong contrasts between light and dark to generate a three-dimensional look, Rembrandt mastered the use of color. The Visconti Rembrandt Collection features unique mixtures of variegated resin showcasing a swirl of light and dark colors reminiscent of the painting technique Rembrandt made famous. Visconti masters the look by selecting resin featuring vivid colors and brush-like strokes in the material.

The Visconti Rembrandt-S fountain pen launch includes four new colors: Black, Blue, Orange, and Bordeaux. And lavender was introduced in September 2023. Each was mixed with marbleized brush strokes of black resin. The Visconti Rembrandt-S fountain pens are a regular edition release using a cartridge converter fill system.

Visconti announced the Rembrandt-S Collection in September 2022.
