About the Visconti Rembrandt
The Visconti Rembrandt fountain pen is made from a beautiful variegated resin. The cap comes with the trademark Visconti bridge shaped clip to symbolize friendship and diplomacy. The cap on the pen has a magnetic closure to keep it in place.
Each pen has a stainless steel and comes with a cartridge/converter fill system so you can use bottle fountain pen ink along with a standard international converter. The pen is also compatible with standard international size ink cartridges.

Included with the pen is a Visconti ink converter. This is a cartridge converter style fountain pen, and this is the red version of the Visconti Rembrandt fountain pen. Chrome colored accents throughout the pen, small chrome medallion there, or knob there, at the end of the barrel. Large chrome band there in the center, with Rembrandt engraved on it and some other decorative patterns.
Traditional Visconti arch shaped clip with the Visconti logo here, on the top. The clip opens nice, wide and easily. Magnetic style cap snaps off and can be posted on the pen. Chrome colored grip section with the Visconti logo, their designs there on the nib and the feed there on the back side.
Since this is a cartridge converter pen you unscrew the section there to change the ink, and included with this pen is one standard universal ink cartridge to get you started. You can also use bottled ink with that converter that was included as well.

This is the Visconti Rembrandt fountain pen. The pen comes in a black leather case, has curved sides to it, the Visconti logo is embossed on the center of the top of the box lid. Clam shell style box with a hinge lid, lifts open for display. This is my first Visconti fountain pen. The Rembrant is a hands-on looking pen. a beautiful deep grey with black nib really sets this pen apart for the standard colors that are offered. The ink at start up was a bit difficult to flow but after it started the pend wrote wonderfully. I was surprised at how smooth the steel nib writing experience was. Ordering online without seeing & feeling a pen in person is sometimes stressful? I'm completely happy with the aesthetic and quality of the pens. Highly recommended.

I bought this just because the price was ridiculous and I just could not pass on it. Second I have wanted to try a Visconti and was always hesitant about the price since folks keep complaining about the nibs in blogs. I did not have an issue with this one. I was planning on having it as a keepsake and now it has joined the ranks of my always inked pens. I do enjoy the magnetic top. I use it posted and its not heavy. I have it in a broad nib and its pretty smooth writing. No scratching at all. I have always been a Pilot chick. I love that their nibs the most but the prices on pen chalet have been so amazing I have branched out and I am grateful as I now have new brands in my collection that I love and Visconti is one of them.

I really like the magnetic cap, holds really secure for me. The steel nib is good, not great. Needed to tweak it slightly to get it performing well out of the box. I was expecting the swirl pattern to be a lot more dramatic, but its still an attractive pen.
