We have met with Sebastian A. Sandersius, one of the 4 brother owners of Ezra Arthur, who gave us a tour of their Phoenix based manufacturing warehouse. The tour and warehouse is fascinating, whereby Ezra Arthur combines old proven leather working techniques with modern design and functionality to produce truly unique items. Each product they make is handcrafted in their factory from start to finish. They cut, assemble and hand stitch each leather product and even have their own printing press to create their own packaging.

Ezra Arthur products are top notch, using only the highest quality of materials in each item, and stand by their products absolutely 100%, offering to repair or replace any of their products. However, what’s even better than their products is the Ezra Arthur story. Four brothers started and own this company, named after their grandfathers, and the legacy they left them of hard work ingenuity, quality and dependability. During the economic downturn in the late 2000’s Ezra Arthur owners purchased equipment and tools, much of which is decades up to a 100 years old, from many of America’s manufacturers. This enabled Ezra Arthur to produce the high quality, American manufactured leather products that is almost extinct in today’s globally imported leather goods market.

Pen Chalet is offering both a small and a medium leather cover Ezra Arthur notebook, in Black, Brown, Navy and Whiskey colors, which contains Tome River paper, made in Japan. Each journal is handcrafted from full grain leather that is cut and stitched in Phoenix, Arizona. The small notebook, retails for $25.00 and the medium notebook retails for $50.00.
