this pen is exactly called "Student for a reason. it is light weight and sturdy. It is very comfortable when you have mid to large size hand to hold. I love the color that I ordered for this pen - vintage blue. Kaweco is an excellent penmaking manufactory. it does not surprise me if one day in future, it may overtake one of the traditional German powerhouses like Mont Blanc or Pelikan.

I don't know what is is about this Kaweco 70s Soul, but I love this pen. I am a fan of Extra Fine and this pen is most smooth and clean. Love it!

I used this pen initially with Kaweco black blue and am now using Noodlers Massachusetts 54th. Pen starts every time. Snap cap is keeping an airtight seal. Lightweight and comfortable to use. A good choice for an EDC pen. Plastic seems to be withstanding scratches from keys in pocket. Nib is smooth and stiff. Pen can carry an extra spare cartridge in it. I do wish there was a clip for this thing.

A relatively low cost add-on to the Kaweco pocket pens. I like the look when combined with the pen. I also like the ability to match the clip to the trim on the pen (chrome-gold-black). Three cheers for Pen Chalet!

This is my second Kaweco pen. I really like the looks of Demonstrators, and especially the clear yellow trim on this pen. I have a fine point on my other Kaweco, so I wanted to try a medium nib. I really like this medium nib--super smooth and just the right width for my preferred writing style. When posted, these mighty-mites become really comfortable to write with. I ordered a chrome clip to go with this pen, just in case I want to place it in my pocket. I already had a small converter, so I did not order one for this pen. Lastly, I ordered Herbin Vert Pre as the perfect ink to complement the trim on this pen. Fast and good service from Pen Chalet!

This converter is tiny. I appreciate it being a pull piston and not a screw piston. I use it in my Kaweco AL Sport. This fountain pen is typically the pen I use when I am very uncertain about an ink or I just need one pen with something very different. Since the converter does not hold much ink, I'm not wasting a lot of ink if I decide I do not need the color.
Works well, and I've had no problems.

In my opinion, Kaweco Sport pens are simply brilliant. I carry two in my jacket pocket at all times: these are the kind of pen you can carry around with you without any fear of damaging or losing them, because they are as robust as they are inexpensive. And of course, they write terribly well.

I have the clear Kaweco Sport, and it works well as a pocket pen except that it has dripped some ink inside rhe inner cap that is visible through the clear cap.
