About the Kaweco Special Series
The Kaweco Special Series fountain pen has an 8-sided body and cap with gold trim. The clipless cartridge converter pen design is sleek and beautiful with gold trim featured on the finial of the cap, the bottom of the barrel, the section, and subtle text marking the pen "Kaweco Collection FP Germany" near the bottom of the barrel on one of the pen body's facets. The traditional Kaweco logo is shown on the crown of the cap in gold, and at the bottom of the barrel, the gold piece is threaded creating the opportunity for a threaded post of your pen's cap. The thin, black rubber ring at the bottom of the threading of the section creates a snug closure, and each pen is fitted with a branded, stainless steel nib plated to match the trim.

This is a pen I'd been eyeing for ages. It writes well, with good ink flow. The converter it came with though, strangely didn't fit well- luckily I had a standard Kaweco converter that fit snugly and perfectly. I don't really know what was up with the included converter. It's very lightweight, I almost wish it was slightly heavier to settle in my hand better. Also, the flat sides don't line up if you post the cap on the back - it's a small, dumb thing, but it makes the pen's quality seem lower.
So, in general, a good pen, espeically if you're looking for a lightweight pen, but not a must-buy.
