Sheaffer Pen company began in Fort Madison, Iowa in 1913. To celebrate their 100th year in business, Sheaffer Pen is featuring a Centennial Limited Edition Pen Collection.
The Sheaffer Centennial collection includes the following pens:
- Sheaffer Centennial Limited Edition Gold: (Limited to 45 Gold Fountain Pens), which is the age that Walter A. Sheaffer was at the time he founded the company.
- Sheaffer Centennial Limited Edition Silver: (Limited to 516 Sterling Silver Fountain pens, which is the date Mr. Sheaffer started his company – May 16, 1913).
- Sheaffer Legacy Heritage Centennial Limited Edition: (Limited to 1,913 Sterling Silver Fountain pens, which is the year the W.A. Sheaffer Pen Company was started.
These limited edition collections, which honor this timeless company, will become an important piece of pen collection history. Owning the limited edition Centennial Gold pen, with only 45 pieces made world wide, make it an immediate collectible.
The Centennial Collection reflects the company’s historic dates “1913-2013” along with various centennial based historic engravings in high relief. Each writing instrument has its serial number at the end of its barrel. Each pen comes in a black glossy lacquered box, with either gold or silver accents, depending on which Centennial pen is purchased. Each pen also comes with a certificate of authenticity and a commemorative booklet. Lastly, the gold Centennial pen comes with a pouch with a gold key.
The Heritage Collection also reflects various aspects from the companies 100 year history. Each pen comes in a beautiful Sheaffer Red box, which was previously used by the Sheaffer pen company. Each pen also comes with a certificate of authenticity and a commemorative booklet.
