The sandblasted translucent body and cap with its ribs along the barrel reminds one of striped umbrellas at an ocean resort. This cartridge/converter fountain pen comes in fine, medium and broad 14K rose gold nibs. The Platinum 3776 NICE fountain pen weighs approximately .7 oz (un-inked) and is 5 ½  inches long (capped), 4 ¾ inches long (un-capped), and a full 6 inches when the pen is posted. The NICE contains Platinum’s innovated “Slip & Seal” mechanism, which helps prevent the pen from drying out prematurely. The NICE is a limited edition pen. However, only the first 2000 NICE pens will contain an engraved serial number, located on the top back of the cap.
