Vanessa’s Conclusions: Ranga Giant 9B Fountain Pen

Ranga Giant 9B Fountain Pen review
Ranga Giant 9B Fountain Pen nib, a stainless steel #6 Bock nib.

The section and barrel match (Vanessa really likes this). The pen is too oversized to post the cap – this pen is huge (7″). Vanessa found it quite comfortable, and even with the rather large step, she didn’t mind it or even feel it at all when writing. The pen is fitted with a Bock #6 stainless steel nib – Vanessa wishes it were a #8 nib. She thinks it would be a great addition to this oversize pen design to have a bit of an oversized nib to go along with it.

She really adores the ebonite red/grey/cream material. Vanessa suggests that if 7″ of pen is too big for you, or if you prefer having a pen clip, you may prefer the Rana 9B instead of the Ranga Giant 9B fountain pen. This is a lot of pen – and you’ll feel like you’re writing with a lot of pens. Vanessa leans toward large pens, so she enjoys this writing experience, but if you’re not a big fan of oversize pens, you might prefer one of Ranga’s smaller pens. Vanessa loves the price of this gorgeous, huge ebonite fountain pen. It’s a great price for a lot of pen.

From Vanessa, on the Ranga Giant 9B Fountain Pen:

Huge thanks to Pen Chalet for sending over this beautiful Ranga Giant 9B fountain pen for review. This is my first time to try a Ranga pen and I have to say it’s a great experience and a nice quality pen. I’ll ink this pen with Stipula Netto Fading Grey to match the pens ebonite material and perform a writing sample.
