The Kawaguchi Fountain Pen was created with the image of Lake Kawaguchi, near Mount Fuji, waiting dawn. The slightly transparent “Dawn Blue” color cap and barrel is etched with a 3-D representation of ripples of a quiet stream. The pen is then finished with rhodium trim and a matching rhodium coated 14k gold nib in either fine, medium, or broad tip sizes. The pen is then packaged in it’s own exclusive gift box.

The Platinum 3776 series fountain pen was named after the height of Mount Fuji in meters, the highest peak in Japan. One of the unique features of the 3776 fountain pen is the “Slip & Seal” cap design that allows the pen to sit for extended periods of time without the ink drying out in the pen. The Kawaguchi fountain pen has a uniquely designed nut inside the “Slip & Seal” cap to honor Mount Fuji and expresses Mt. Fuji turning blue before dawn.
