Hayabusa SE Ink is the 53rd color made by Colorverse, and is yet another great addition to their line-up. Also, Hayabusa SE is their first true purple ink, and a gorgeous purple at that. Each pack of Hayabusa SE Ink comes with a 65ml bottle and a companion 15ml bottle of Hayabusa Glistening ink. The 65ml bottle is a stunning shade of purple that can have some gold sheen. The 15ml bottle of Hayabusa Glistening is the same shade of purple, but also has gold shimmer particles added to it for extra flair.

Colorverse held true to their Space theme again with this new ink. Hayabusa, a Japanse unmanned spacecraft, launched in 2003 to collect some mineral samples from the near-Earth asteroid 25143 Itokawa. There were many firsts with the Hayabusa mission, and some great scientific and engineering breakthroughs. Many of these breakthroughs occurred before the spacecraft ever left Earth. After it’s successful return to Earth on June 13th, 2010, the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), devoted several years and articles to their findings.
