Caran d’Ache has just announced that they have teamed up with Nespresso, to create the Limited Edition Caran d’Ache 849 Nespresso Ballpoint Pen. In 2015, Nespresso launched its “Second Life” program, dedicated to giving “new life” to its used capsules. The body of the 849 Nespresso is made from 100% recycled aluminum from used Nespresso capsules.

The Caran d’Ache 849 Nespresso Ballpoint Pen comes with the typical 849 hexagonal body for a comfortable writing experience. Also, the 849 Espresso sports the usual 849 flexible steel clip. Engraved on the face opposite of the clip it states “Made with recycled Nespresso Capsules”. The Aluminum used in this pen is very lightweight and will allow for a pleasant writing experience. In addition, it will fit the Caran d’Ache Goliath Ballpoint Pen Refill, allowing you to write up to 600 pages of A4 sized paper. Made from 100% recycled and recyclable cardboard, even the packaging is environmentally friendly! Also, Caran d’Ache uses their special glue free conception for the interior box.
