Pelikan has just announced the release of a new special edition pen, the Pelikan Souverän M400 Tortoiseshell Brown, coming September of 2016.

Pelikan Souverän M400 Tortoiseshell Brown Fountain Pen

Much like the 2013 special edition Pelikan M800 Tortoiseshell Brown, this smaller M400 version of the pen has a barrel made of brown striped cellulose acetate while the cap and section is a dark brown resin and 24k gold plated accents finish the pen nicely on the rings and clip.

The fountain pen version has a 14k gold two tone nib available in extra fine, fine, medium, broad, and italic. Like other Pelikan Souveran M400 fountain pens, the special edition M400 Tortoiseshell Brown will have the Pelikan piston fill mechanism.

Not only is the Pelikan M400 Tortoiseshell Brown available as a fountain pen but it comes as a matching rollerball pen and ballpoint pen as well. Like all of Pelikan’s special order pens the M400 Tortoiseshell Brown will only be available for a short time while supplies last.
