Pelikan Souveran M400 Tortoiseshell Brown Video Script

This is the Pelikan Souveran M400 Tortoiseshell-Brown Fountain Pen. It comes in a grayish-brown cardboard box with the Pelikan logo printed in brown on the top of the box lid which lifts off.

The pen comes with a nice, soft, white leather carrying case for the pen. It has the Pelikan logo embossed on the bottom corner, stitching along the edges, and then it has the Pelikan medallion closure that keeps the flap closed on the case. And, of course, we have the Pelikan Souveran M400 Tortoiseshell-Brown Fountain Pen.

The M400 comes with gold accents on the pen, so it has a gold medallion on the top with the Pelikan logo, and that transitions into the gold, Pelican bill shape clip that's on the pen.

At the bottom of the cap, there is two rings on the pen: a thinner and a thicker ring. On that thicker ring is engraved, "Pelikan Souveran, Germany." Dark brown resin on both the cap of the pen and the end of the barrel and, of course, the tortoiseshell-brown color on the barrel of the pen. These vertical lines that run the length of the barrel gives it that beautiful brown color. And between that and the end of the barrel of the pen, there's two gold rings.

The cap is threaded on the pen and unscrews, and can be posted on the pen. The Pelikan M400 is a little bit smaller pen. It does come with a brown matching grip section, a dark brown resin and a two-tone gold nib on the pen, with the Pelikan logo and the feet on the backside.

This is a piston-style fountain pen. You can see inside slightly, between the brown lines of the pen, and see the ink levels on the inside of the pen. To fill the pen, you actuate the piston by the nob here on the end of the barrel of the pen.
