Pelikan has just announced a new special edition of the Souveran, the Pelikan M800 Souveran Renaissance Brown Pen. This special edition pen was designed with a completely new color combination. The acrylic resin used for the pen has pearl like ribbons of color for a gorgeous marbled brown. This beautiful resin reveals nuances of light and shadow creating characteristics of a Renaissance painting, making the pen a homage to the masterpieces created within this time frame.

Pelikan M800 Souveran Renaissance Brown Pen

Each Pelikan 800 Renaissance Brown pen is accented in 24 carat gold plating on both the rings and the pelican bill shaped clip commonly found on the Pelikan Souveran line. Available in both fountain and ballpoint versions with the fountain pen purchasable with a two tone 18 carat gold nib in your choice of extra fine, fine, medium or broad.

These special edition Pelikan Souveran pens come in an elegant gift box with a soft white leatherette pen case. The color of the Pelikan M800 Souveran Renaissance Brown lends itself perfectly to the this year’s Pelikan Edelstein ink of the year, Smoky Quartz. Other special edition items by Pelikan this year include the Zeus and the Pelikan M101N bright red fountain pen.

The new special edition Pelikan M800 Souveran Renaissance Brown Pen will be available for sale in May of 2017 but we are now taking pre-orders for the pen.
