Coming this June is the limited edition Montegrappa Rosso Veneziano fountain pen. Montegrappa derived the name for the pen from the color red spotted at every corner of Venice Italy, “Rosso Veneziano” is a bright shade of red often found on gondolas, buildings, artifacts and costumes.

Each Montegrappa Rosso Veneziano fountain pen is made from a pearl like red celluloid resin and finished with sterling silver trim. The piston style fountain pen is then fitted with an 18k gold nib in your choice of extra fine, fine, medium or broad tip sizes. Both the nib and the band on the cap are finely etched with a typical Venice motif. Atop the cap of the pen is a sterling silver medallion with a winged lion design.

Limited to only 100 pens made exclusively for the US market, the Montegrappa Rosso Veneziano is expected to sell out quickly.
