Platinum has announced their newest pen from the 3776 Nice series, the Platinum 3776 Nice Lavende Fountain Pen. Since the inception of the Nice series in 2014, they have been very popular and sell out quickly, especially the limited numbered pens. The original 3776 Nice pen had a clear demonstrator barrel and cap with chrome trim. Next was the Nice Pur with its rose gold trim. Last years version was the pink barrel, Nice Lilas edition. We anticipate this years model to live up to the same standard of excellence.

The Platinum 3776 Nice Lavende pen, this years edition, is similar to the Lilas edition, but instead replaces the pink with a gorgeous purple hue. This years color has been inspired by the lavender flowers that bloom and stretch into the horizon during the early summer in Southern France. The lavender flower, which has been known as the “queen of the herbs”, due to its medicinal and fragrant qualities.

The purple demonstrator barrel and cap have a sandblasted finish, with sharp accent lines, allowing the light and ink to reflect in unique ways. This gives the pen a very distinctive and beautiful look. The trim, like last years Lilas pen, comes in rose gold with a 14K gold nib in either a fine, medium or broad tip.

Each Platinum 3776 fountain pen comes with Platinum’s ingenious slip and seal mechanism. This special cap design allows the pen to retain fresh ink for longer periods of time without it drying out.
