Coming mid-November 2015 is the new Delta Citta di Amalfi Collection. This collection was inspired by the Italian coast after which it was named. Each pen is as beautiful as the coast.
The Citta di Amalfi pens incorporate a nautical or coastal theme. Engraved at the bottom of the barrel is a compass. Atop the cap is the crest of the Citta di Amalfi Antica Republica Marinara and the clip is engraved with a Maltese cross. Each barrel is made from olive wood and hand turned. The cap and section are made from blue Italian resins.
The Delta Citta di Amalfi Collection comes in your choice of fountain, rollerball or ballpoint pen. The Delta Citta di Amalfi fountain pen is available in 3 different types of nibs including the Delta Fusion nib, a stainless steel nib with fold infused on it, a 14 carat gold nib or an 18 carat gold nib. Each nib is available in either extra fine, fine, medium broad or stub tip sizes.
The Delta Citta di Amalfi Collection fountain pen has a convertible-piston filling system and retails from $650 to $995 depending on the nib you select. The Citta di Amalfo rollerball is a capped pen retailing for $495 and the ballpoint a twist action that retails for $450. Each pen is discounted at Pen Chalet at 20% Off while they last.
The Delta Pen Company makes many themed pen designs such as the popular Indigenous Peoples collection or the Delta Nefertiti Collection also released the year. They have been manufacturing pens for more than 30 years and each pen they make comes with a lifetime warranty. This Italian pen company is well known for their great designs and quality writing instruments and the new Delta Citta di Amalfi Collection is no different.
