Aurora and Pelikan pens (both plural) are the highest state of the arts writing instruments for me. I’ve been collecting and using them for the past five years for letter writing (a rapidly disappearing form of communication) and my journal entries. Aurora’s medium nib fountain pens are consistently on point–pun intended–but I suggest you go to a stationery store and test the Pelikans because very often the fine nibs are too scratchy and the mediums lean towards being broad points. Good luck!
