Pelikan has introduced its 2015 Edelstein Ink of the Year, Pelikan Edelstein Amethyst. Again, Pelikan went to its multitude of fans on Facebook for suggestions and ideas to come up with 2015’s ink of the year. Amethyst was chosen from all the suggestions and ideas, and has turned out to be an enormously beautiful color which is now added to Pelikan’s Edelstein “gemstone” collection of colors.

Amethyst joins the other Pelikan Edelstein “gemstone” ink colors of Garnet, Topaz, Sapphire, Ruby, Onyx, Jade, Amber and Tanzanite as well as last years Ink of the Year, Garnet. Amethyst is a beautiful purple color, reflecting the stunning color of the actual amethyst gemstones.
