If you are looking for a flex nib fountain pen Pen Chalet carries a few options at various price ranges. Choose from the lower price Noodlers flex pen options or the soft nib Platinum 3776 or Pilot Falcon fountain pens. some of the fountain pens listed have other nib options so make sure you select the flexible or soft nib option.

What is a flex nib?

Flex nibs are meant to bend when pressure is applied when writing. With that pressure the nib "flexes" or bends, spreading the tines of the nib apart and creating a wider line. This flexing action allows the writer to create varied line widths but the amount of pressure applied.

What is the difference between flex nibs?

Flex nibs are not all created equal. Some flex nibs have little flex such as a soft nib which has a spongy feel with little line variation. Others are made to flex more to easily give more line variation.
