About the Conklin Herringbone Signature
The Conklin Herringbone Signature fountain pens combine vintage appeal and bold, modern style. The Herringbone's unique and elegant pattern is created using a precise computerized engraving machine to cut the deep pattern into the solid metal barrel. Reminiscent of the Conklin crescent shape, the herringbone pattern on this pen collection is seen underneath a special translucent colored lacquer coated with several layers of epoxy to offer protection and brightness. The heavy chromium clip is engraved with the legendary “Conklin” trademarked name and font, and the center ring is engraved with the Conklin “C” surrounded by four Conklin crescent shapes on each side. The fountain pen uses a cartridge converter filling system compatible with standard international-size cartridges and converters (included with purchase). Available in varying nib sizes.
