Replacement Lamy nibs. All as expected. Comfortable writing nibs. Style-wise I prefer the black ones. They are sold out where I live all the time. Thanks to Pen Chalet for having a good supply of them. They arrived super fast. Many thanks.

I really like this ink. There is a thickness to it that is very nice and the colors are interesting.

My pinnacle pen is my Montblanc, with this comparison I must say Lamy pens are work horses and very pleasing to write with. Everything works with German engineering precision out of the gate with this pen! Lovely brushed metal finish, nice big clip, window on both sides to see ink, it’s a real beauty and a great value. Penchalet delivered very quickly and was helpful with questions. I would highly recommend this one as a daily writer and pen chalet for their service. My fancy pens rarely leave home — this is a wonderful pen to travel with. Lamy packaging makes it an experience to open. It’s really quite a pen for the money.

Great value as it was a freebie with the pen. Beautiful bright red — not blue or orange - in an interesting bottle with a plastic base that provides stability.

Cartridges ARE convenient even though I usually fill from bottles. I thought this ink was named “bronze” but all I can find on the box is “T10.” It isn’t metallic, rather it’s almost a burnt orange medium value. Flows very nicely in Lamy pen. Recommended.

Beautiful color. The blotting tape dispenser could use a bit of work, or the paper could be a bit more perforated for ripping off the intended small piece. I found that if I didn't stabilize the paper at the "cutting" point I would get more than I bargained for and it was a bit fussy to train it back into the bottle.

The pen is just what I expected - a smooth writer, lays down a generous amount of ink (I have B nib). It is the well-known design - a nice expression of 1960's elegance. My 2000 came nicely boxed with factory authentication. (I appreciate this since I also own a 2000 in fine from another seller that did not come this way.) My only complaint is with the shipping - for reasons that can't be explained my pen took nearly 2 weeks to arrive - even though I paid the extra fees for expedited handling and priority mail. In my view the blame for this lies entirely with the USPS since Pen Chalet did everything they could to get the purchase to me in a timely manner. It is a fine pen and I am happy to have it in my rotation.

I haven't purchased one of my favorite Al-Star pens in a few years. Again, the price prompted me to get this petrol colored pen.

This is the perfect St. Patrick’s Day pen. The color of the anodized aluminum pen is a great shade of green. This Lamy is a new classic in my opinion.

Can’t go wrong with Lamy. Ordered because of color option. Have a number of Lamy products. This did not disappoint.

Love the Montblanc and Lamy fountain pens and tried all nib sizes including the extra fine. With the COVID-19 virus my friends and I have been busy writing a lot of letters to our fellow neighbors in our community to encourage them and give them a real hope, so I tried the Lamy Joy fountain pen to give my handwriting a more calligraphy look and finally settled with the 1.9 mm nib and it's perfect. Other pen companys were out of stock but Pen Chalet were there to help me. I gave a heads up to my family members how great the 1.9 mm nib works. Thank you very much!

have heard great things about Lamy pens from different friends in the stationery community on instagram, so I wanted to give this pen a try!
My first impression is that I love the sleek design. I immediately wanted to test it out. It felt very light weight the second I picked it up, which I prefer for a pen on the go!
The design feels really well thought out and stands out to me because as soon as you hold it, you can feel the grooves are made for your fingers to rest perfectly! It feels like a lightweight plastic but the metal clip feels super secure. It feels high quality. It comes with a bottle of black ink, five black cartridges, one blue cartridge AND a refillable converter. I prefer converters because you can play with more ink options this way. The converter is of great quality, and it was really easy to twist and fill. The pen has zero skip! And the ink doesn't get fuzzy on tomoe river paper. Which is my favorite paper for using fountain pens. I also tested it on my 160 gsm paper from notebook therapy in my bullet journal and it doesn't skip or get fuzzy on that paper either. I prefer a fine nib pen in most cases and I feel like the nib of this pen hits closer to an extra fine nib, but it really just glides nicely so that really makes up for it. I used the black ink bottle, which almost has a deep purple hue. It doesn't bleed through any of the papers I listed above either. It is actually a really great basic black ink that would fit great in anyone's collection.
I think what I love the most about this pen is the value. This is such a great starter pen and I highly recommend it for the person who is just starting out in the fountain pen world. It's a great starter kit that comes with everything! And the color options for this pen are wonderful.

My writing flows! So simple to change nibs on the Lamy Safari! I’ve been doing Christmas cards with the Italic 1.1, 1.5, and 1.9 and my cursive! The cards look amazing with the fabulous shimmer inks!!!

I love the writing experience with this architesque nib. My only complaint would be that it seems to be dry, but then again my Vista has always been a dry writer. The tines are pliable enough to make the nib wetter easily, so that was an easy fix. I’d highly recommend this nib!

This is the perfect pen if you are committed to writing with a fountain pen all the time, but sometimes you want something small. This pen is about the size of a small, retractable ballpoint. It's no good for writing a lot of text because it's so small that my hand cramps, but in my field journal for one-off notes, I could not ask for a better pen. Very happy with my purchase.

The architect point is barely noticed with some inks, the effect is a bit subtle, but the nib does show a bit more feedback than the normal F. Needs a drier ink to see a crisper effect. Either way it's not a bad nib, don't expect smoothness, but at the $11 it cost me it's a cute experiment.
