I'd wanted to try Lamy Violet for a while, so I got this cartridge pack. I found it worked okay on copy paper (not nearly as good as Lamy Blue) but showed nice rich color and some shading on better paper. As purples go, this one leans a little too red for me. I much prefer the blue-leaning color of Lamy Azurite, for example. Still, this one's fine, and as always the Lamy cartridges are excellent for capacity and ease of use.
