Since I had ordered ink cartridges for my old pen from Pen Chalet, I went to your website when looking for a replacement. After looking through the website, I was still uncertain about selecting a pen and called customer service. I spoke with a very helpful sales associate, Deb (could have been Debra or Debbie), who went out of her way to help me make a selection. She suggested the Diamond 580 Smoke Rose Gold pen I purchased. In addition, she helped me get this great pen at a discount price because she found it in the return section. After a bit of a delay due to travel, I've been using the pen for about a week. It was easy to fill, the nib is very smooth, and ink flow is steady. I like the weight of this pen and weight had been one of my concerns because my old pen always seemed a bit heavy. What an amazing pen. This rose gold 580 is pure beauty and class. I got the stub nib. Amazing writer. Paired with Diamine Ancient Copper the stub shows amazing shading. I have quite a collection of Twsbis so knew what to expect but this blew even those expectations out of water

This was the second TWSBI I bought in a month. I liked the first one so much, I couldn't resist getting another similar style, the Diamond pattern. This one is a full size pen, very pretty with the rose gold accents and another smooth writer. I filled this one with Waterman Noir Intense and it or another looker! I never thought I would like demonstrator pens but the two I bought are both exquisite examples of beautiful design! I am thoroughly pleased!

I held off getting a 580, but the looks of this one sold me. Great performer as you'd expect from TWSBI. Left it inked for a couple weeks, and it started right up with no issues.

The looks of the TWSBI 580 Rose Gold are stunning! The smoke cap and end paired with the rose gold work together give this pen a subdued look of elegance. I’ve received many compliments and “What’s that?” queries about the pen.
Differences about this pen that go beyond looks are the use of metal in the piston assembly, similar to a 580 AL or ALR, but a plastic, smoke-colored section. It’s a hybrid of the standard 580 and AL/ALR versions. I was concerned about the balance of the pen as the back metal piston assembly weight is not offset by a metal section as per a 580AL/ALR, but I haven’t really noticed the difference yet.
It's a great writer with a Medium nib, but I’d sure like to try a Broad with this pen.

Gorgeous! I got the broad nib, which is great for writing letters. It writes very smoothly but is a bit finnicky about the angle. This is only my second-ever fountain pen, but I'm glad I got it.
