I love TSWBI pens. I have a Diamond 580 (Iris) and Diamond 580AL (Ice Blue) and a number of ECOs. I have been wanting a VACR. When I saw this one I knew it was time to buy it. The Kyanite colorway is incredible. This pen is VERY sharp looking. And of course, the quality and writing experience is great. A very cool pen for the price point.

I love TWSBI pens. This isnmy first Diamond AL. I also have the Diamond 580 Iris, about 5 Ecos and two Diamond Minis. All of them are great writes. The Diamond 580 AL is a great pen for the price. Apparently the micro texturing on the aluminum grip is disliked by some. I don't notice it much and I actually like it.

I have not been a TWSBI person and this pen seemed like perhaps a TWSBI I could get into. I was right - this is a great pen. Easily to fill, writes really well and is light enough that most people could hold it all day. I may never come completely around on all TWSBI types, but I really do like the Swipe!

Hands down my favorite stub nib, at least to date. Doesn't have that 'sharp' edge some do in feel or look, which may or may not be what one wants. I do; they write smoother and make even my sloppy writing look good, win-win. I have a small herd of Ecos bc they go for miles and I love every one. They may not be the prettiest, but I try others and keep coming back so that has to say something.

Beautiful pen; stands out from my others. Smoke is still translucent which is hard to tell online (think dark Purple or Blue from the regular lineup, only deeper). I got the Fine and it writes like a champ. I expected no less which is why I like them- never have a problem and I'm a complete klutz. I'd love to see this shade with a silver or darker pewter accent, too.

This pen writes very wet for me. I think I need a smaller nib to use this pen often. However; put a shimmer ink it and it writes lovely, Drawback is the pen has to be flushed often. I find this with all three of my different TWSBIs. Service was great, the pen writes nice and wet.

I've long used a TWSBI ECO in cement color. Recently I gifted the pen, but needed a med. nib. Fortunately I was able to buy my favorite TWSBI ECO color with a med. nib, Persion Green. Love it and the med. nib which I had to give away. Guess a med. TWSBI nib is in my future. They are a surprise to me (I have a stub and a F) I gifted the TWSBI to an artist who is excited about this new adventure!!

I have a stub and fine for the 580. very good steel writers. I do not recommend removing the nib from its collar. I couldn't get a nib back in and ruined the feed.

These are absolute workhorses! They write/draw every-single-time. No hard starts EVER. You can treat them badly (not that I condone that for such loyal pens), leaving them sitting inked forever and they are ready when you are. They handle shimmer inks better than any other pens I have used. I have found the stub nib particularly enjoyable with a shimmer ink. You can’t beat these for value, quality and “loyalty”.
