The Konrad Tinian Treasure is absolutely beautiful and one of my favorite pens. Many folks say they have to tinker with the Noodler's pens to get results, but I have 5 of them and have never had a problem, even with shimmer inks, right out of the box. They all provide a beautiful writing experience and most of them are works of art in their own right.

I enjoy playing with my Konrads. They have a little bit of feedback that I enjoy, and I haven't had any trouble with any of them.

Writes good...I accept the fact i have no talent when it comes to flexing...It turns out to write beautifully like it was a fine nib.

This Noodler’s Konrad December 25th flex pen is writing well, finally. It took me four separate heat-settings and a reshaping of the circular end of the barrel to do it, though, so that the nib/feed and the end were nestled properly. Prior to that, I was dealing with an unpredictable situation of periodic “globbing” of large pools of ink ruining paper, notebooks, etc. I had to leave a meeting while taking notes, mich to the amusement of my non-fountain pen friends. I almost threw this pen in the trash. I compared it with other Konrads of mine, which are okay, and noticed that this 25th model did not have a metal collar around the end of the barrel. My others do. Maybe that would have made a difference. It now writes fine, and I use it daily. It looks nice, and the size and style are wonderful. But beware when ordering this model — and be prepared for getting ink on your hands, just in case. I am really not sure how to,grade this pen. Noodler’s must address this. This is not the fault of Pen Chalet. They have a fine operation and should not get stuck trouble-shooting the shortcomings of Noodler’s. Try to make sure the end of the barrel in the nib area has a metal collar to retain the needed shape.

I ordered the acrylic version of this pen in coral. Out of the box, I inked it with Waterman Green, and it straight up did not write. I could prime the feed until it squirted ink on the page, and it still wouldn’t write. I tried every ink I own, from diamine to Monteverde to Iroshizuku to Montblanc. This pen would not write. So I adjusted the nib and feed multiple times, to little avail. I hear set the feed, and finally some writing would occur with my wettest flowing ink. However, the flow chokes off very easily, after only a few words, even with only light flexing. You then need to shake the pen to get ink back in the feed.
This pen just does not work.

The color green was not the green in the picture. It was hyper
Green and overly bright like a demonstrator. To me the picture
was "touched to hype the pen color. Not necessary and not
appreciated.

This one is fabulous. Writes ready and wet every time. That's EVERY TIME. I am planning on making another purchase of this very same pen, as it is gorgeous and has a natural feel in the hand. It flexes with ease and its trace and line variation are extremely precise. Well worth the money, even at twice the price... I would still buy two. It have become a daily go-to for me, in just a less than a week's time.

It's a beautiful fountain pen. I expected a little more flex, but it takes a lot of pressure to make it flex like most of the reviews on YouTube. As just a pen, it is fantastic, showing a little flex in just normal writing. I was also expecting that I would need to spend a lot of time to tweek the nib and the feed, and was pleasantly surprised that it wrote perfect, straight out of the box.
