This is my first Noodler's Ink fountain pen ever. I've read reviews & viewed reviews of the various "flex" pens available and I decided to go with their latest flex pen, the Konrad. My dad's name was Conrad, played a part as well in my decision. When I received the package, and I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't take too long to arrive, I did an initial wash through with the disassembled pen before putting some ink in it as suggested by one of the videos. Also from one of the videos, it advised that it may take some time to get the pen to "flex" properly at first. I play around with it a few minutes every day, just so it gets used to how I use it. It probably won't "flex" the way I really want it to. Not the way I assumed it would. But I'm getting to like it each day that I use it. I think I'll be planning on getting the Neponset next.

My first flex pen, and being new to FP, not sure if I'm using the nib correctly for 'flex'results. I like the appearance. It posts deep rather than riding high on the body posted which I like. Has a good feel and weight. While I normally prefer a broad nib, I like the line this gives. It is smooth, doesn't skip, and starts up quite well. I am very happy to have it in my collection.

The Konrad fountain writes very smoothly , and does not skip or leave puddles. My only negative opinion is my disappointment in the color. The pen showed online as a bright, solid white body with pink swirls ; however the pen body is transparent. This makes the swirls look weak, and gives the pen a cheap appearance. I know it is not an expensive pen, but I prefer a solid color body. I have other transparent pens (demonstrators), and their transparent colors is more intense. This pen looks like it was made with skim-milk. I'll use it, but not in public. As I have nerve damage in my hands, I always carry a fountain pen. It makes writing easier.

Well, the pen is cheap. You get what you pay for. Unfortunately mine is unusable. The ink practically floods out at the feed.The feed was chipped. I've tried resetting the nib and feed, heat setting, and flushing. It looks decent in my pen case anyway.

Listen, love the pen and for the price it can't be beat. Never wrote much with fountain but a Dr. friend of mine bought my wife a fountain pen and myself a bottle of ink from noodlers an I'm hooked.

The fountain pen Noodler's Perarl Acrylic is nice, cheap but writes very well with its flexible nib, seems to write as when I was in elementary school with stylus and inkwell.

The Pen writes wonderfully. I would say the line is in between a fine and a medium if not flexed. Easy to fill and I like the fact that you can see your ink level through the barrel. I purchased the acrylic versions and they are beautiful. They were on sale so the price was right and I got free shipping as well. Delivery was quick. I will definetly buy from Pen Chalet again.
