How Does the Twsbi Diamond 50ml Inkwell Work?

Inside the bottle, an upper ink reservoir makes filling easier as your ink supply gets low. With the cap securely attached, turn the bottle upside down to transfer a controlled amount of ink into the upper reservoir. This brings the ink closer to the filling point, eliminating the awkward struggle to reach the last portion at the bottom of a bottle.

The Diamond 50ml can be used as a traditional inkwell with virtually any fountain pen, but TWSBI owners get an additional benefit. Its specialized upper cap allows compatible TWSBI piston-filling pens (including models in the Diamond 530, 540, 580, and Mini families) to connect directly to the filling apparatus. Remove the pen's front section, attach it to the bottle, and operate the piston to draw ink directly into the pen without immersing the nib.
