Wancher Zen Reviews
This is an attractive pen at a nice price point. It isn't the best steel nib that I have in my collection, but it is not unpleasant. The looks of this pen are very nice, except for the exposed threads at the end where the cap screws on when posting. That is an odd feature.
The size of the pen is very nice for those of us with large hands. It is thicker in girth than a Pelikan M800/805. It is not as heavy because it is coverter, not a piston, filler.

It leaks often. I find ink in the cap more often than on my other pens... giving me inky finger a lot. I only carry two pens at a time.

Ordered the Earth theme pen, and loving it. The pen is large and just the right weight, not too light nor heavy. The material in the cellulose barrel is deep and shimmering, giving a three dimensional look. It's gorgeous. I especially like how the cap posts, as it threads onto the back of the barrel. No slippage.
The nib is well tuned out of the box and performs wonderfully. It's a bit wet, which is to be expected for a German medium steel nib.
All in all, it's a great pen.

Beautiful pen that would pass for one costing $3-400. So many beautiful details - cap screws to post, for those wanting extra heft. This is my second WANCHER, and these are top-rank, especially for the price. This one has an XF, which I use for lettering, and it is perfect for that. You will love these pens.
