The Gioia Pen Chalet Exclusive Into the Night Partenope fountain pen is made from an exclusive German ebonite that tells the story of the night through the great eye of the Grand Canyon. One of the natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon draws explorers from all over the world to Pen Chalet's home state of Arizona. 6,000 feet deep at its deepest point and 18 miles at its widest, when darkness falls, the night sky seems to fill the canyon's massive depths offering a surreal view of the starry skies that so many no longer have access to due to light pollution throughout a large portion of the nation. The deep, dark blue ebonite features swirls in shades of grey creating unexpected patterns and depths just like starlight.
The Pen Chalet Exclusive Gioia Into the Night Partenope fountain pen's starlight filled ebonite is paired with ruthenium trims. And in homage to Pen Chalet and Arizona's famous natural wonder, Gioia replaced the Partenope's traditional engraving of the Naples skyline with an engraving of the Grand Canyon. Each Exclusive Gioia Partenope fountain pen is fitted with a matte black nib that pairs perfectly with the ruthenium appointments.
Changing the Gioia Partenope from a fountain pen to a rollerball and back again is simple. Just unscrew the front portion of the pen (including the nib or tip and section) from the barrel and replace the entire front section with the alternate version. The "rollerball" version of the Gioia Partenope is compatible with a Parker ballpoint pen refill.
The Exclusive Gioia Partenope fountain pen is a numbered edition limited to 50 pieces. Each pen's number is located on the bottom of the barrel. Gioia Pen Italia provides a lifetime warranty against all manufacturer defects on their pen products.

What can I say about this pen without applying so many superlatives that the review gets larded with them. Well, they are all applicable. A stunning pen with a beautiful nib combine to make it a wonderful writing experience. The exclusive Grand Canyon etching on the cap finial makes it even better.
