This is a nice looking converter. It functions well enough. I recommend it if you are buying a pen by Platinum.

The lonely fountain pen converter seems to always be sitting in the back seat and told to be quiet.
I believe fountain pen converters need to be recognized and given their proper place in writing.
A proper brand and constructed converter will keep up it's end in the writing experience.
A proper brand and constructed converter will fit & re-fit properly many times and there will be no leaks.
When purchasing a fountain pen make sure to also purchase an extra 2 +/- converters that go with the pen and give yourself a worry free writing future.
(the same goes for ink cartridges)

If you have a Platinum pen and want to use inks and colors not in the Platinum ink cartridges, this is converter needed. This allows you to use the ink and color of your choice.

I like platinum converters best of the Japanese brands. They have yet to give me any trouble and hold a decent amount of ink

Glad they have these at PenChalet for my cheap Platinum Preppy collection and other pens that stingy Platinum won't provide converters for.
