Absolutely beautiful pen! The medium Gioia nib writes smoothly with a nice moderate flow (Diamine and Monteverde inks). The resin is nicely marbled and the coloration is so Italian!

Great pen, esthetically beautiful and also a wonderful writer. It's well made, with lots of attention to detail. I prefer larger pens, and the Gioia Partenope fits the bill perfectly. I ordered a Fine nib, and I'm very happy with the way it writes. It's smooth and lays down a consistent flow of ink without any problems. It's my first Italian pen, and I have no regrets. What can I say about this pen without applying so many superlatives that the review gets larded with them. Well, they are all applicable. A stunning pen with a beautiful nib combine to make it a wonderful writing experience. The exclusive Grand Canyon etching on the cap finial makes it even better. The fact it can be either a fountain pen or a rollerball adds to the overall enjoyment and versatility. So lucky to have this in my collection.

I had never seen this brand before and purchased it on a whim, It is a large pen seems to be well made. It has some interesting design features, it writes well. Its a piston filler and it holds a lot of ink.
