Each Conklin All American Limited Edition Ebony Wood fountain pen displays its own unique wood grain and all are accented with gunmetal trim along the rocker clip, threading, and section.

PROS: I wanted this pen for months and I love the ebony wood finish, the substantial size and the weight.
CONS: The cap has sealing issues causing the ink to dry up within a day. I tried many inks and ended up using my wet ink only. The nib hits the cap when I cap the pen, causing scratches all over it. I received my pen with scratches all over the nib. I actually contacted the PenChalet customer service and thankfully they contacted Yafa brands for a new nib which was delivered to me. The new nib also has a scratch on it but at this point I am letting it go.
This pen is not worth its sticker price. I bought it because it was on half price and even then the Jinhao 9056 (a clone) is a better pen in function. The Jinhao, which costs a fraction, does not have the problems of the Conklin. As I own many other pens, I can live with its shortcomings and I really like the unique ebony finish. This pen is like a desirable and exotic Italian car which lacks reliability.
In the end, I am very thankful for the PenChalet customer service (Lainey) for addressing my problem.

So beautiful classic style. Although it is large in size and extra weight, but still comfortable in hand.
The nib is fine,nice and smooth.I prefer writing unposted, I think I can handle writing Thai/English better.
