About the Pen Chalet Ink Sample Vials(10pk)
Ink sample vials are a great way to store, transport and share your fountain pen inks. This 10 pack of empty plastic ink vials come with a screw on cap. Each ink vial can hold up to 7ml and has a gauge on the side for the first 5ml. Each ink vial is just over 1/2" in diameter so most fountain pens can fit inside. The bottom of the ink vial is also tapered to allow the nib to reach the bottom and get those last few drops of ink.

I like these tiny vials, because sometimes the neck of ink bottles are very small, and other times, I might not want to drag the whole bottle of ink with me on a trip. I can pour a small amount out or use a pipette/syringe to retrieve the ink. I don't experiment much with mixing colors, but it makes it easier with these little bottles when I do.

Great no leak sample vials. I did the cheap thing and bought some off amazon. DON"T DO THAT unless you want to be known for sending leaking samples to your pen friends. Get the quality ones from Pen Chalet and do your ink swap friends a favor.

For years I thought this purchase made no sense, then one day I made the purchase. It was a great one. I had tried other types of bottles and vials for travel and to share ink with friends, but none were quite right. This seems to be a perfect solution. I like the design because it makes it easy to draw up the last drop of ink with ease out of the bottle.
