The matching pen holder accepts the nib end of your Platinum Desk Pen for storage while the pen is in use or for display. The pen holder is fitted to the matching pen stand with a ball and socket joint joined to a decorative gold plaque.

I love this throw back old school desk stand. I have lots of vintage Esterbrook desk pens, and it looks classy on my desk.

This is not an expensive item, and it shows. It isn't cheap, but it also isn't as heavy as I would like it to be. I plan on using it at work, were I don't want a very expensive pen to be. Don't get me wrong, for what it is, it is fine. A bit more weight would be nice.
