The pen holder is fitted to the matching pen stand with a ball and socket joint joined to a decorative gold plaque.

This is not an expensive item, and it shows. It isn't cheap, but it also isn't as heavy as I would like it to be. I plan on using it at work, were I don't want a very expensive pen to be. Don't get me wrong, for what it is, it is fine. A bit more weight would be nice.
