A lovely shade reminiscent of nature and a great value.
The only thing better, made in North America. Hopefully someday soon all our companies will bring back our production so we have lots of great environmental, ethically and economically sound options that reduce our footprint and build back our own economies and sustainability.

Have had this ink for about 1 month and refilled it in the Monteverde Sequoia Stub nib and I really like the pairing of Napa Burgundy and stub nib. It is dark enough but has nice color variation from the standard black and navy. Don't think I will go back to black and blue inks or medium nib on this pen.

I write around 4000 pages a year. Naturally I use a fountain pen. In my search for an affordable
good flowing and deep colored ink, I have experimented-- with many. I feel that, at long last, I have
found that splendid source issuing the most wonderful ink! It is the Monteverde USA Ink.
Wow, it is the holy grail of ink. The amazing cornucopia of the colors--my first dabble was with the Blueberry Muffin, is manifest happiness. I truly enjoy and look forward, each day, to writing with this beautiful ink.
I treasure it. The 90ml volume is very welcome.

The color is nice unfortunately the ink gets quite crusty when it dries on a nib. This color of ink, in my opinion, should be used in pens that seal the cap well. If you have a pen that dries easily it will become quite crusty and dry. It dries well when it is not dry. Pumpkin Cake is the first Monteverdi ink I tried so far. I'm sure the other colors would not dry as badly.

Very pretty color. Put it in may TWSBI 580 AL Emerald. Goes wonderfully together. Haven't tested it with water resistance or otherwise but suits my purposes for daily writing.
