The color is nice unfortunately the ink gets quite crusty when it dries on a nib. This color of ink, in my opinion, should be used in pens that seal the cap well. If you have a pen that dries easily it will become quite crusty and dry. It dries well when it is not dry. Pumpkin Cake is the first Monteverdi ink I tried so far. I'm sure the other colors would not dry as badly.

Very pretty color. Put it in may TWSBI 580 AL Emerald. Goes wonderfully together. Haven't tested it with water resistance or otherwise but suits my purposes for daily writing.

This ink surpassed my wildest expectations. It will ALWAYS have a home in my Opus 88 Flora. Beautiful color and shading, even in an EF nib. Great flow and dries in a reasonable time.

Love this ink works great in fountain pens. Quite having to clean my pens every month. In fact going on 6 months they’re still working great. I’m not super in love with the color may try blue berry.

Love the color. Saw it being used on a YouTube site reviewing a fountain pen, and thought the ink looked good. It does, and I couldn't be more pleased. Good price for a lot of ink.

All inks are not the same. This is a pen friendly ink. It does not have any sheen or color variation, but the shades are beautiful, and your pen will love this ink. It goes on nice and juicy, and dries quickly. It is easy to clean of of your fingers too, using just soap and water.

I ordered 4 bottles. One bottle leaked, losing a nominal amount of ink that collapsed the box when I removed the bubble wrap. I think the cap had not been tightly placed. I did open two of the bottles and those caps needed force to open.
Regarding the ink itself, the Cherry Danish and Birthday Cake write well. I am enjoying them in Pilot Metropolitan pens (fine point nibs).
