Great value in the 90ml bottle and great quality. No clogging. The Monteverde Green is darker than expected. If you want an ink that looks green, I'd recommend the Yosemite Green.

Flows very well, a little "dry" like pelikan 4001 but less so. Beautiful color. Functional bottle.

I have really been enjoying the Monteverde inks. Flow, drying time, saturation - all very good. Some wonderful colors too. I’m using Smoke Noir constantly now!

Monteverde has done an excellent job with these inks. They are wonderfully saturated colors, flow is excellent, work great on most paper and come in 30ml. or 90ml sizes. I have several and they do not disappoint. There is a rather nice color palette to choose from and there should be something for every pen user.

I have only used this ink in my Conklin Empire so far. I enjoy the color, its something different other than black or blue. This will probably last me a long while.

I bought Monteverde's California Teal and Blue Velvet Cake (love the name!). They have great shading and red sheen which I love. I've written with these inks in Conklin and other fountain pens - all the pens love these inks. Great flow and the colors are beautiful. I also have Purple Reign from a year or two, ago, which is more of a pink ink with an undertone of lavender, I think. Lovely color, lovely performance. I am sold on Monteverde ink and am trying to make up my mind about which three or four new colors to soon buy from Pen Chalet.
