The Monteverde Hatch Prototype Rollerball Pen is made from an all metal cap and barrel for a nice sturdy weighted pen. Made with a glossy black hand made lacquer finish and a unique chrome colored clip and rings. The cap snaps off with a firm grip and can be posted on the pen. The section has a slight cross-hatch texture making the pen easy to grip when writing hence the name "Hatch" for short. Each Monteverde Hatch Prototype Rollerball Pen comes with a Monteverde M22 rollerball refill in black ink.

Monteverde Hatch Prototype Video Script

This is the Monteverde Hatch Prototype Rollerball Pen. The pen comes in a pretty basic cardboard box, green, with the Monteverde logo in silver on top of the box, on the side. On the ends of the box is the Monteverde mountain logo. And, of course, inside we have the Monteverde Hatch Prototype Pen. This is a prototype pen that Monteverde made so there's very few of these available and they're only available at PenChalet.com.

On the top of the cap, you can see there's a chrome tip or end, kind of a bullet shape, and it has a chrome ring that runs around the cap that attaches the clip. And on the bottom of the clip is a small ball shape. The very end of the cap just some simple chrome ring and just a basic end to the barrel of the pen. You can see there's a couple of ridges there. The cap on the pen is a compression fit. It snaps off and it can be posted on the pen. You can see the grip section. It has a little texture to it, makes it real easy to grip and hold on to. There is a small chrome band between the grip section and the barrel of the pen. And then the actual end of the grip section is a chrome shape or chrome color. To change the ink on the pen, you simply unscrew that section from the barrel of the pen and you can replace the refill. It looks like a standard universal style rollerball refill.
