The Visconti Opera Master Antarctica fountain pen transports the writing enthusiast or collector to the vast extents of ice and water that characterize Antarctica. The contrasting colors and play of light between the pen's white and light blue are the defining element of the latest edition to the Opera Master collection.

The Visconti Opera Master Antarctica fountain pen features the easy to use double reservoir power filler that allows you to fill the pen with the equivalent of 10 ink cartridges of ink. The double reservoir aspect of the filling system also makes this fountain pen safe for air travel-preventing leaks due to altitude and pressure changes. The cap closes using Visconti's Hook Safe Lock system that is not only very satisfying to operate, but prevents the possibility of the pen accidentally unscrewing. Each Visconti Opera Master Antarctica fountain pen is fitted with the in-house 18kt white gold nib (handcrafted and manufactured in Florence, Italy).

This limited edition fountain pen is a semi- transparent demonstrator with the blue/white semi-transparent acrylic resin featured in both the cap and barrel. The beautiful swirls of blue and white are inspired by the frozen tundra of Antarctica, and are perfectly accented by palladium trim and the beloved Ponte Vecchio bridge clip highlighting the Visconti name with a bright blue enamel.
