It is a clam-shell style lid. Lifts open. Soft leather interior. The Visconti logo is printed on the underside of that box lid. And of course, we have the Visconti Moonlight Fountain Pen. This is the Blue Lagoon version with the chrome accents. It has rounded ends on both the cap and the barrel. There's somewhat of a point to them. On the backside of the cap, there's a small screw. And on the front side, we just have a plain basic clip. It does have the arch shape the Visconti clips typically have.
On the center band of pen, nice thick chrome band, you can see the Visconti logo. A Visconti logo there, Moonlight and the Visconti logo on the opposite side as well. Crescent-filler style pen. You can see the Visconti logo engraved on that crescent filler with a clear-colored locking mechanism that slides open. You just align that little channel in the locking mechanism and it allows you to compress the crescent filler. It has a squeeze filler on the inside, a bladder that allows you to fill the chamber with ink.
It has a threaded cap that unscrews. It's okay to use this pen without a cap. It's a pretty good size, I think, with or without a cap. It doesn't feel too top-heavy or unbalanced with the pen capped. Chrome colored section on the pen. You can see the number of the pen here of 150 that were made printed on the side of that section. I'll give you a close up there of the nib with some etchings on it. That nib wraps around to the backside of the feed. You can see the size also there on the bottom of the nib.
Nice looking pen. I like the design. Love the colors that they've come up with with those swirling resin patterns. Get your Visconti Moonlight Fountain Pen at PenChalet.com!

Visconti Millennium Arc Moonlight Reviews
Material and built quality is flawless, the smartouch nib is smooth and very pleasant to write with if you prefer a harder nib. My M writes finer than expected for an M from Visconti which I like. The flow is well adjusted. the plastic ring feels and look a bit cheap and that's my only complain about this pen. otherwise it's a superb writing instrument to add to anyone's collection.

I received the pen and it is as advertised, beautiful. On the first inking it took three pushes on the arc and she was ready to go. The nib is a medium and is nice and wet, there is no skipping, dripping or issues when in use just writes like a dream. The medium nib does puts down a broad line so if you tend to write on the small side you will most likely want a fine point. My overall satisfaction is great and I would recommend this beautiful instrument to anyone who loves fine fountain pens.

Beautiful but useless. Does not write with either wet nor dry inks. Blobs ink and leaks unless completely full. Not up to the usual Visconti standards: I have many others and this is the first one which has not been perfect. This is an issue with this pen, not with Pen Chalet who showed their usual terrific standards of customer service.
