The Visconti Homo Sapiens Carbon Rose Fountain Pen brings a softer, more refined expression to Visconti’s ongoing exploration of forged carbon. Following Carbon Moiré and Carbon Abyssus, Carbon Rose introduces warm rose-toned details to the dark, highly technical material, creating a striking contrast between strength and elegance.

The pen body is crafted from forged carbon, a lightweight composite formed from carbon fiber fragments and resin. Its naturally irregular structure produces a distinctive, organic pattern across the surface. For Carbon Rose, Visconti incorporates pink-anodized aluminum alloy leaf into the material, creating luminous rose-colored veins that move through the deep black carbon. The effect changes subtly with the light, revealing different highlights and depth from one viewing angle to the next.

Complementing the body are fittings made from Ergal, a lightweight aluminum alloy valued for its strength and also used in aerospace applications. The trim receives a rose gold anodized finish, visually connecting the metal components with the warm metallic accents running throughout the forged carbon.

The fountain pen is fitted with an 18kt rose gold nib, adding another layer of warmth to the design while delivering the premium writing experience expected from the Homo Sapiens collection.

For filling, the Carbon Rose uses Visconti’s Double Reservoir Power Filler system, offering generous ink capacity and the convenience of a two-chamber design.
