This is the Sailor 1911 Mosaic fountain pen. It has a black resin that has a mosaic pattern to it with chrome accents throughout. On the both the ends of the pen it has a rounding shape transitioning into a pointed shape at the ends. On the top of the cap is a small chrome band that runs around the pen with a chrome clip. It is a simple crime clip that has a little bit of a flare there at the end with a ball shape. Then it has a nice large chrome band that runs around the bottom the cap. Engraved into that chrome ban a sailor Japan founded in 1911. Then at the very bottom of the pen, at the bottom of the barrel is a small chrome band once again. The cap on this pen unscrews and inside we have a black resin grip section with another small chrome band and a chrome colored 14 karat gold nib. On that day we have engraved 1911 with the Sailor anchor logo.
Now this pen is a cartridge converter style pen so to change the ink you simply unscrew that nib section from the barrel and you can insert into that nib section either the included cartridge or the included converter. If you wanna use different color inks you can also use your own cartridges or ink. Underneath the false bottom of the box it those additional in cartridges as well as a Sailor think converter if you want to use the bottled inks. All that included with the pen.

The Black Mozaique 1911 is worth a small wait. This Japanese gem will bring you full technical quality from nib to top (easier to spell than the French word). Every detail is made to serve, right to the finish, and a nib that runs finer than its label, eg, F being close to EF. Pen Chalet's price is reasonably reduced, considering you'll be driving a quality product. You might find your order takes a week or more, if Sailor has to replenish your model. For beauty, function, and quality, it's worth it.
