The Sailor 1911 Large Wicked Witch of the West fountain pen has been inspired by the classic novel, “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz". Available solely within North America, the pen answers the question of what pen the witch would carry.
Crafted in a deep purple resin and finished with black Ion-plated trim and 21k gold nib. The Wicked Witch of the West pen have been made in the same body style as other Sailor 1911 Large pens and comes with a cartridge converter fill system.

Like all Sailor 1911 pens, the build quality is top notch. The purple color is a bit darker and muted than perhaps the pictures depict but it's a great color nonetheless. I bought mine with a Zoom nib and, honestly, it's not all that. I'll need to have it smooth as there seems to be a bit of scratchiness when moving the nib right to left. Would have been better off just going with a traditional nib style. Even when this Zoom nib is smoothed out, I'm not sure it will get consistent use.

Stunning pen! The ion plated Sailor nibs are a bit softer than their gold/rhodium counterparts, so you get slightly less feedback than you would with a typical Sailor. The deep purple color is just phenomenal.

Beautiful pen. Quality is excellent. Not happy about needing to use ONLY Sailor inks to avoid voiding warranty due to nib finish.
